Angry Theme Studio 5 & Windows 7...HELP!?

I've been using Theme Studio v5 on my laptop, which has Windows 7 64-bit and I've been having an issue with getting themes to save correctly.

For example... the theme I am working on has to have pink meters (battery, signal etc). I have colored the icons, loaded them into Theme Builder and saved them to my PC. The next time I go to work on this theme, the preview in Theme Builder shows everything as I left it, with pink meters. But then when I test it on the simulator or my device, they're reset back to white. I load them into Theme Builder again, test and it works fine. Save the theme, close Theme Builder and the next time the theme is opened, they're back to white (on sim and on my device, but not the theme builder preview).

As far as I know or have seen, I only have this problem with the meters and with the "line color" on messages (the background for every other message). Only the meters will save, they just reset as soon as Theme Builder is closed and the "line color" won't save or display at all (does in preview, but not sim or device).

I'm also having similar issues with Composer saving correctly.

This is a major problem for me as I've already published several themes and am in the process of developing several premium themes also. So I can't have items being reset without my knowledge.

Does anyone know what is causing this problem and how I can resolve it?

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

But I thought I read somewhere that it wouldn't make themes for the 8530 devices. Am I mistaken?

OK I got the new Theme Studio v6 and gave it a quick test run with the theme I was working on last and it actually saved everything. So I removed TSv5, rebooted and went back into TSv6 to work on my theme, but it wouldn't allow me to use my simulator. I went to the sim list and refreshed, but it didn't detect anything.

I removed the sims (8530 for Verizon and 8530 generic), rebooted and installed only the 8530 generic sim, but the same thing happened.

So how do I get TSv6 to detect my simulator?

Well I have good news and bad news....

Good news... I got TSv6 to finally detect my simulators. But I had to un-install TSv6 and the sims. Reboot computer. Install TSv6 as an administrator. Reboot computer. Install simulator as administrator and reboot computer. Now I can use TSv6 with my sim, no problem. Still can't close the sim without bringing up Task Manager, but at least its working now.

Bad news... TSv6 still resets my custom meters back to the standard white ones every time I exit, regardless of how many times I save it So all this time and hassle to accomplish nothing

ok, so have you tested this on device to confirm that the simulator is accurate? because if its happening in both TB versions, then the only `constant` would be your simulator.

On both TSv5 and TSv6 I tried the following...

Tested on 8530 Verizon simulator which showed custom meters reset to white.
Tested on 8530 Generic simulator which showed custom meters reset to white.
Tested on my device which showed the same thing as the sims.
