Theme Builder-wrong resolution from simulator

Hi @all,

I'm new to the crackberry forum and I directly got a question:

I got a 9700 and try to build a theme with the theme builder from BB.
I downloaded and installed the recent simulators for the 9700.
They are shown in the preference section in theme builder but with the wrong display size(480x320). If i try to make a new project for the 9700, which has the origin size of 480x360 and i want to start the simulator, I get the message, that there are no simulators for 480x360 installed.

I got the same behaviour using Plazmic.

What can I do?
Anybody there, knowing a workaround or a solution?

Are you absolutely you got the 9700 simulator? If so, I would try installing a different carrier/os version 9700 simulator as there are many or even a generic one.

Hi,

yes I've done so no 9700 simulator is working fine because, in the properties the resolution 480x320 is shown within the installed simulators.

I should try a generic one.

Well,

I've tried with the generic, but neither the generic nor the regular simulators are showing the right resolution in the theme builder.

what can i do more?

So,

all tries to use a 9700 simulator failed.

The following workaround is just working fine:

using the recent 9650 simulator is the solution.

Not very fine solution but probably a way we can live with.
