Are you running Windows Vista?
I haven't heard of anyone getting Theme Builder to work on Vista.

Assuming you're running the Theme Studio 6.0 beta version, the only solution I know involves ditching Windows Vista. The software runs well on Windows 7 and Windows XP. You could wait for the final release, but I have no idea if the final release will support Windows Vista OS.

Also note you should only use Themes Studio 6.0 beta to create themes for the 9800 Torch.

Your user details show you have an 8900 Curve. If this is your current, device you should use Theme Studio 5.0.

You can always try right clicking on the TC or TB icons and click 'Run as administrator' and see if that works.

I'm most likely posting this in the wrong post but I've been searching the forums to find postings that would be able to explain how to make themes (Picture "Making Blackberry Themes For Dummies") Can anyone point me in the right direction or if someone would like to help me over email/bbm that would be insanely appreciated! Any reply is great. Thanks Guys

Google 'Matt Ginesburg' (sorry matt if I got your name wrong! ). He has a bunch of tutorials on his site.

BTW yes, this is in the wrong thread.

Cool Composer, Theme Builder, Simulator Under Windows Vista Business

I don't have problems with WVB. I don't run them as an administrator. Under security (for the desktop launcher for TB) Full control, Modify, Read & execute are all marked 'Allow'; Special permissions is neither 'Allow' or 'Deny'. Same for Composer and Simulator.

On the other hand, if you read all the news feeds, I am the only installation of Vista in North America: everybody else uses either XP or 7.

Try uninstalling all of Composer, Theme Builder, Composer, etc. reboot Vista and re-load all of them. Good Luck !! Doctor Neutron

Wow, doc! You're the only one I've heard that has been able to use TB6 beta with Vista. I tried multiple uninstalls and re-installs with no luck. Finally I upgraded to Windows 7.
Which Vista version are you running?
