Default Theme Builder Icons

I have downloaded Theme Builder and started creating a personal theme for my BOLD 9650. I am having trouble figuring out how to place icons on the home screen. What I would like is a "today theme" with the calender and messeges scroll across the top of the home screen and under that at the bottom have a place for four or five icons. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

Sure!
The best thing to do is use the Composer software that comes with the Theme Builder. It might look tricky to start with, but it's easy to pick up!
Basically you can use it to add icons in different places and other animations and the like.
PM me if you need more help, or you could look at the SVGs I have on my website

Composer is kind of complicated to a new theme builder, and you really don't need that.

OP, you need to start by creating a custom theme. You add the 2 Today icons, Messages and Calendar, and place them where you want, then add the 5 or whatever icons along the bottom. You can move them, align, space, etc. to get it just right.

Is it possible to put a manage connections shortcut on the homescreen using composer? That alone would be worth the hassle to figure out for me

In composer you can import an image and convert to a button and then click the button on your list of objects to make sure it is highlighted, then there will be a little box (sorry forget which window it is in) that says 'activate' 'focus in' 'focus out'. Click where it says 'activate'. then there will be a pop up. and in that pop up there will be a long line of little icons, first 2 looking like film (one gray, and one blue) all the way on the right there is a small icon that looks like the 'default app icon' click that, there will be a drop down list, select manage connections from that list. Done.

I know that sounds like a lot, but once you do it the first time, you will know that it is pretty easy.

PM me if you have any problems, or my PIN is 2116051B.
