Default Theme Builder Export Error

I am getting the following errors when trying to export a theme:

Errors:
Problems encountered while building the theme.
Unable to locate the application's 'main' class. The class 'net.rim.plazmic.app.themebundler.Main' must be public and have a 'public static void main(String[])' method. (LAX)
Unable to Launch Java Application: Unable to locate the application's 'main' class. The class 'net.rim.plazmic.app.themebundler.Main' must be public and have a 'public static void main(String[])' method. (LAX)

Here's the background ...

I downloaded Theme Builder last July and created a handful of themes for my 8120 Pearl. Since then my hard drive began failing and I purchased a new laptop. I was able to recover almost all the data from my old laptop and I reinstalled as much of my software as I could on the new laptop. This included installing the same version of Theme Builder that I had used in July. Recently I tried to make a few changes using Theme Builder and got the error above error messages.

I was able to get my old laptop up and running by installing a new hard drive that was a clone of the old hard drive (it was touch and go for a while, but eventually I was able to create a clone). Lo and behold, Theme Builder still works on my old laptop, but I continue to get the errors on the new laptop ... even though both are running the exact same version of TB (version 6.0.0.55) and I am attempting to modify the exact same themes. The old laptop has an AMD Turion processor and uses Windows XP Home SP3. The new machine has an Intel Core i5 processor and runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

Attempting to identify the problem (or at least isolate the problem), I have tried running TB on the new laptop in compatibility mode (both XP SP3 and SP SP2), but I still get the same error messages. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling TB ... again, no luck. I also copied the entire Research in Motion directory from the old laptop to an SD card and tried running TB from that card on the new laptop. I get the same error messages.

I tried searching for any file with plazmic in the name on both machines. Neither machine has a file with the name that appears in the error message.

I don't know if any of this helps, but I sure hope so. This has been frustrating ... to say the least!

Default Problem solved ... mostly

Here's an update regarding the export error I reported.

I continued to uninstall and reinstall TB, also unstalling and reinstalling Desktop Manager. I also manually deleted any folders that were left after uninstalling ... just in case. Finally (and I don't know why), I am no longer getting the error message mentioned in my post (and I am not running in compatibility mode).

I still have one problem that is annoying rather than show stopping. I can export a theme for use by Desktop Manager without a problem. However, life is not so simple if I want to export directly to my Blackberry device. In order to do this I must connect the device to the PC, then restart the PC. If I do that everything works fine ... as long as I only want to export one theme directly to my Blackberry. If I try to export a second theme I get a message that says I need to connect my Blackberry (which rebooted itself after exporting the first theme). Disconnecting and reconnecting doesn't help, the probem cannot be resolved (whithout a restart of the PC that is). Windows Explorer can see the Blackberry, and if I select Import from the TB file menu, TB itself sees that the device is attached. Only Export fails to recognize that my Blackberry is actually there.

Has anyone else encountered anything like this?
