Theme Builder - 1 small problem ! help plz

hey everyone,
i need some help from you guys..

these days i was searching for some nice themes, but just couldnt find any that i like..
so after some more searching..i finally decided to give it a try and make one myself,
everything worked fine, without any tutorial, its just that simple somehow, it's pretty nice to create ur own themes !

but that was just a test theme, i tried all the stuff out, after that i tried installing it directly from theme builder on my bb, after that i tried DM out, everything worked fine...

so i thought, "ok, the next theme u'll make, u'll try seriously and use it afterwards"

so i made all the preparations, dl'ed all the icons/pics i'd need etc.. i was ready to go, but then i couldnt get 1 little thing to work, so here goes:


when i first got my bb, on the home page (mainsite) the symbols were nicely arranged, meaning.. from the bottom left to the right, in this order:

messages (emails, all updates etc), SMS/MMS, adress book, calender, browser, media (folder)


for my theme i want exactly the same order, but heres the problem:

i can get all the stuff on the main page, except the media folder...i tried it so many times via the application hierarchy.. to get stuff on the mainsite, you have to put the stuff under the folder "root".. but i cant put the folder "media" under the folder "root"
it just wont work, i tried everything...i clicked 100times "add zen item", but the "media" folder just wont appear, i need it on the mainsite..
its not just the "media folder".. its every folder, i cant get it under another folder... i dont know how to do it

can anyone help me, please?

edit: and if i go for layout type: zen, instead of custom it wont work either, cuz he wont even find the media order, btw

can someone explain me the difference between activation and messages? cuz if theme installed on my bb, its both the same, ty

when you add a zen item, ensure `use application hierarchy` is checked, this will then use the relevant spot from your main app screen, so if you have 4 zen icons using the hierarchy it`ll use the first 4 icons on your main app page, so just move them around in your app page to get the desired result

hey, thanks for the reply, but as i wrote above, that wont work

it does work with everything else, but i somehow cant put a folder under another folder, in this case "root" (the mainsite)
i mean, i can do it, but it wont have any effect, it'll just add the things in the media folder, not the media folder in general

sorry maybe i wasnt clear, when you put down the xen icons, just ensure that application hierarchy is checked, then put this on your device, if you have for example a 9700 then you`ll have 6 icons (or however many you used) and this will reflect the first 6 icons on your main applications screen. there is no need at all to move the hierarchy in theme builder, it merely uses the first 6 slots on your device. when on your device hit the menu key and select `move` and move the items you wish to the first 6 slots then click in the trackball/pad to finalise the move. it works in exactly the same way as the default ZEN theme does

Icon heirarchy is always tricky...
