Default Text Icons On App Screen?

3400638654_6892c6367d.jpg

As you can see in the picture above, someone has created a theme where the app screen icons are actually text icons. I know that this is possible to do in composer and have done it for the homescreen on many of my themes but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it for the app screen. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

SN: found the picture in a google search, I don't own the right to it or the theme in it

those are icons... not text. the text is preprinted on the heart for each icon... then imported. There is NO way to manipulate the app screen like that.

...or, they are all clear images with text, then they use the heart as an underlay tab. Similar to what StaticFX stated, just that it allows you to change the BG image without changing every icon.

That's a smart way to do it, cause you can customize the theme with whatever underlay you want. Might have to try something like that.

meaning.. each icon is just the word... then you pick the underlay/focus as heart graphics.
