Never had that problem. It crashes when I import a storm theme....which makes sense.

I've had it crash when I change particular images like the menu "caret", but not when changing things like icons, etc.

Are you importing a theme and then changing images? That will guarantee a crash. If you create from scratch you shouldn't have too many problems.

If you are, I'm not sure what to tell you. You could try creating another user account on Windows and loading TB6, maybe it will work better.

Or, you could update to Windows 7. (=

creating from scratch. Tried to change the banner image. Crash.
Installed as admin, ran as admin, ran in XP mode...... Maybe I should boot to the XP partition and see if that works.

I've never heard of anyone getting the TB6 beta to work on Vista. Booting to XP partition might work. I upgraded my PC to Windows7 and no more crashes.

i found this too in win7, for the carets etc to change them first of all save all your other changes (just in case) then click `reset to default` on the item you wish to change, then after its reverted to default you`ll be able to add your new graphic without it crashing.

work for me at least, win7 ultimate 64bit

Yeah, I was doing the same thing. Seemed to work well enough.

I think the trick is to have multiple iterations of your theme saved at all times. I keep three versions of the same theme that I save every 30 minutes. I've had my original and one back up fail at the same time before (corrupted), so I always keep that third copy just in case.
