Default SVG File??

I was just wondering: "What exactly is an SVG file?" I've been playing around with the Blackberry Theme Builder, and I noticed certain places where I could load an SVG file. I know I'm probably wrong, but from what I've concluded, an SVG file saves the order off the apps and stuff on your bb homescreen and then I could load it to my theme so that all my stuff will be in the same order. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong though. So what exactly is an SVG file for and where can I find/make it/one?

It pretty much just gives you the chance to build a theme anyways you want, with mini icons, some animations stuff like that. I'm new to it myself but that's what I've gathered, you can build one up in the composer that should have came with your theme builder download. Its fairly simple, like I said though, I'm new to it too, I'm sure there are a lot more "cooler" stuff you can use it for as well.
