Default Storm 2 application icon issue...only 3 rows visible (sometimes)

So I'm making a minimalist theme for my Storm 2. All is good, except the application icon screen will sometimes only show 3 rows instead of 4. If I rotate to landscape, then go back to portrait, it will have 4 rows visible...but if I open messages or anything and go back it shows 3 rows again (and in a smaller space...kind of crunches the application icon space.) Here are the things I've done that may have contributed to the issue, but I'm not sure.

1. Changed the icons to 80x80 OS6 icons (i know it calls for 73x73, but it seems like they are resized when exported)
2. Messed with the landscape enabled settings...like wallpaper, banner arrangement.
3. Imported an SVG I created in composer that has a bunch of homescreen hotspots and banner underlays.

That's about all that is different.

One other thing I've noticed here recently after downloading a few of BT Design themes is that when the keyboard opens so I can unlock the phone, the lockscreen shrinks and moves above the keyboard, instead of having the keyboard overlay the wallpaper. Is this something with TB5.0, or is this usual?

Thanks for the help.

I am not sure if this is the reason but one thing that causes this problem is if you make the app screen banner height too tall and since there isn't enough room to fit 4 rows of icons, only 3 shows up. But, this should happen always, not sporadically like you described. Try resetting the banner height to default.

That could definitely be it. I increased the banner to 50pixels to make room for two rows of info. Do you think that could have pushed it overboard?

Try 48 or under.

Ended up going to 45 and it worked. Thanks for the advice. Any ideas about the lockscreen when the keyboard opens? Kind of drives me nuts when the screen shrinks and goes above the keyboard...doesn't look good at all.

Thanks again.

Are you talking about 9500/9530? I have 9550 with OS5 and when I lock my phone the only way to unlock is to press the power button on top. I don't even see the lock screen anymore.

Its a 9550 and I'm on BES, so I have to password protect. When the keyboard pops up for me to enter the password, the lockscreen wallpaper shrinks to ~50% and goes above the keyboard.

Sorry, I have no idea why that would be happening and I can't diagnose it because I can't see it. However, it sounds like TB or OS issues as there isn't many options to mess around in the lock screen section of TB.

if you set a password on your device you can see it (you`ll also get the lock icon back too).

basicaly what happens is it shrinks the svg/banner to half size then places it top center in the screen, on account of the keyboard being up, its an TB issue as the device is trying to resize stuff when the keyboard shows, not really any way around that as its correct before ya throw up the keyboard.

images attached for those that havent yet (and you really should) set a password on their device

hey BBThemes, thanks for looking into this...unfortunately, what you have in the pics isn't exactly what I'm seeing. I'll try and get an example pic posted tomorrow, but basically, take a snap shot of what your lock screen looks like and shrink it above your keyboard...that's the best description I can give. What you have pictured is what I'm accustomed to (and can live with), where the keyboard overlaps the lockscreen. Through some testing, I've seen that if I have an SVG file with the lockscreen, I will have the shrunken screen...if I remove the SVG file, I'll have the screen that you have shown. I wanted to have the weather icon on the lock screen, so I created an SVG file. The themes that I have downloaded that have had an SVG file included on the lock screen have had the issue. Not sure if this is common, but it is what I have seen as of late. I'll try and snap a shot tomorrow to present a visual of what is going on, but basically, as of now, I'll just reserve the SVG file for the homescreen.

Here's a couple screen shots of what I'm seeing (one pic is the standard lock screen...the other is what I've been seeing when the keyboard opens up0. This is the BT Design Real Hero theme, but I've seen it in others (including ones that I've developed). As said before, I was able to "fix" the issue by removing the svg file from the lockscreen, but I'm not sure if this is the real reason why it is doing this.

Thanks
