Export to either a JAD (for over the air) or ALX (use Desktop Manager to install)

Did you browse to the folder in which you exported your theme? Is the theme for the right phone?

And when you try to load the app, do you use the browse button to navigate to the documents folder?

After you export it to .alx, make sure your Bold is connected to your computer via the USB cable, then in desktop manager, click on "Application Loader" then click start under "Add / Remove Applications" then click "Browse" and make sure you're looking in the correct documents folder for your theme, then highlight it, click open, then click on "Next." If you're following these instructions, you should be able to load your theme. If you're not finding your theme, you either didn't create a Bold theme, or you're not looking in the right area, or something else has gone wrong. Hope this helps

ok so i managed to put the theme on my phone. i did this by exporting it to a jad and putting the cod files in the same folder as the alx.

now that i made a bigger theme instead of 4 cod files i have 12 and each one is seperate as in cod 1, cod 2, etc... because of this DM is only seeing the 58kb little alx file so it wont transfer over to a theme on my bold???? how can i make all the little 50kb cod files into one large one??? this seems to be the problem. for some reason on the first little them when i emailed them as an attachment through yahoo and opened and saved yahoo did it for me, this is not the case now with 12.

please help

Desktop Manager doesn't work if you export your theme using .JAD, that's only for Over The Air downloads ( it has 1 .jad file that you point to with your Blackberry Browser then it auto installs all of the mini .cod files ). Export the theme .alx only and it will export 1 .alx file and 1 large .cod file. Then you can install it using desktop manager.
