problems with tab focus icons in composer

simple theme - 8 bottom icons - main and focus icons are fine but tab icons do strange things - tab icon is ok and central to picture icon - but tab focus icon is offset to the left and is higher than it should be

its not the icon image - i thought it was but have tried the same image as tab and focus icons - as one its correct as the other its offset

i seem to be able to move it in composer but when i have saved it and moved it to simulator is back in the wrong position

what am i missing

just see the x y icon position , and make sure your focus icon have same x y

thanks - worked a treat - in truth i thought i had tried that - well i had but had altered the figures in the mini inspector line - rather than the inspector window - so either i did it wrong [always possible] or altered in in the wrong place

can i bump this hoping someone can throw a little more light on this problem

i posted that the help above worked - it did on a skin i had started in composer - but i was not happy with what i had done and started again - i am back with the same problem

to explain

i want 8 icons across - so

1 - i have resized a couple of icons to 40 x 40 also a focus tab

2 - in composer i open a session and import an icon - i change that to my 40 x 40 icons

3 - i import a focus tab and check its X, Y position is the same as the icons - it [for some reason] usually is not - so i adjust it

in composer all 3 icons look correct and show correctly aligned on top of each other - when i import into theme builder the tab focus icon is out of position - usually to the left and slightly low

to resize my icons to 40 X 40 - i simply resizes them in photoshop from standard 52 x 52 icons - that may be my mistake - but they look correct

can i add - i have no real idea what i am doing [well not the understanding of it] but am working from an excellent demo by Matt Ginsberg - sorry system would not allow me to post the exact link
