Default Please help with ota hosting!!

I've always used a certain site with an ftp account to easily host my themes but that site is no longer up and I'm at a loss as to what to do now. bbthemelab hosting isnt working and im just at my wits end! I've tried to use apacheweb server to do it and its just all too complicated. Someone please help me point in the direction of another free webspace and ftp host site or something please!

You can host your own by using DropBox. It's very easy to use.

I've tried BbThemeLab and while I LOVE their site, the hosting is just a pain IMHO.

Check out MyBbOTA if you haven't already. I'm sure its probably quite a bit different than what you used before, but its SUPER easy to use and works very well. I seldom have any problems and in the rare instance that I have, their support has been wonderful

I tried MyBBOTA and after two "your theme was rejected" messages because I didn't complete the stupid form (no theme description..) and you have to upload a screen shot of your theme?! what a pain in the ***!

I use BBThemeLab and it's super easy, fast and generates a short URL. Way better than MyBBOTA-PIA for sure!

I'm sorry you feel that way

I personally like the fact that MyBbOTA requires descriptions as well as screenshots on the themes, otherwise people have no idea what they could end up with. I know when I was using MyBbOTA strictly to download themes, I would skip right over those without descriptions/screenshots just for that reason.

I also believe you can leave these fields blank if you have a paid membership (I know you don't have to UL screenshots, don't know about descriptions as I always include both). But again, those that don't have descriptions and/or screenshots I personally skip right over as I'm sure many people do.

But everyone is entitled to their own opinion

I guess MbBBOTA is for some people, just doesn't suite my needs.
