Please help!!! jscroll nightmare

Alright so I figured out why jscroll wasn't scrolling but now i want to add an Icon to the file, and I've tried a few different methods and it does some weird things.

For one, when I load it into tb it shows all of the icons focused in, then when i throw it on the sim it just shows the default app icon.

Secondly, when i try to just add hotkeys nothing else it does the some thing.

There has to be a way to edit this darn file to improve it.

Please can someone help me with this, i have spent countless hours on one darn svg file!

Don't worry, this is normal. Theme builder seems to always by default show the focused state on the preview it gives you. When you open your theme in the simulator, just wait about thirty seconds after the theme has loaded up and is showing on the screen and it will eventually change to your new icons.

I used to struggle with this when I first started theming and I would always exit out of the simulator thinking something was wrong, when actually I was exiting out of it before it had a chance to fully load.

Ok ill try that. thank you, its weird tho because i tried like 4 or 5 different things and loaded it on the simulator, it's funny that i never left it on there for 30 seconds tho. i can see me getting that frustrated and just shuttin it down lol

well i tried what you said and still no worky. I'm just gonna have to lice without the hotkey and weather icon. That's a bummer it adds a lot to the theme. maybe one of these days ill have some time to kill and figure out whats going on.

FYI. i tested what you said with the Plazmic provided svg file and all I did was add a hotkey for the applications folder exported it and it sill didn't work. maybe its way I'm exporting it, but the only way i can get jscroll to work is by loading it from the default folder.

If you wouldn't mind telling me what you do when you export a jscroll, that might help but it's no biggie...at least for now.

When I export a JScroll, before I open it in Themebuilder I usually go into the svg using a text editor like the default notepad program on PC's (or Notepad ++ which you can download, much better) and edit the focus in, focus out properties. That by the way is only necessary if you change the positioning of the icons in the original jscroll composer file.

once i open it in TB, i go to the navigation tab within the theme homescreen section and decide how to access my icons (by default you usually will be on your banner profile icon from the start, so you can choose to scroll either down, or to the left or right, or up to access your JScroll).

Other than that, if you aren't changing the original JScroll svg, there really shouldn't be too much extra stuff you need to do. I do more editing on my svg's because I usually combine the JScroll with a hidden dock

Well I've tried doing a lot to Jscroll and everytime it doesn't respond on the simulator. So now I am just leaving the icons alone and adding simple things like hotkeys, but still it does it. Most recently I changed the canvas to the 9600 series and that did the same thing to the SVG.

I do all the same things when i export, except for the editing, I have tried changing the default jscroll icons application order in Notepad++ but that really messes things up. I have to be missing something, for there to be so many Jscroll themes out there, it must be fixable.

I'm willing to try anything if anyone wants to take a guess.
