Please help! I cant figure this out.

Okay, been making themes for awhile and I came across an issue I can't fix. I am making a halloween theme and am using a lot of gray/black in my menus, lists, etc. the one place I cant seem to change the color is the active part in 'phone hotlist' under my number. As my theme is now if I hit the green call button there is a section of white with a blue cursor (under 'my number' section) and my gray is below it, how do I change the white area to the gray I am using under it? Is it possible? I have looked everywhere to edit this. This white in my gray/black/orange theme is blinding me. I am running 5.0 on a 8520 if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance!!!!

can you explain a little more clear what the problem is? where exactly is the white? and did you make the homescreen background in photoshop or gimp or something or is it a picture?

Its when you hit the green phone button to make a call. Right above where it says 'type a name or number to make a call' and underneath 'my number'. Its white with a blue cursor and i cant find a way to change the color or the icon color.
