I have been searching this for a while. I never had a problem with earlier themes, but now everyone i make has this problem, even on diff BB's.

Whenever I get an email/sms, I go to the respective inbox and see who its from. If it can wait, I will just hit back and not open the email/sms until later. Now, before, the red * would go away, but it would still show the unread email icon and count. Then when i went and read it, the icon and count would go away. But now, that only works for sms. For my email, when i back out of the inbox, it still shows that red * and everything until I open the email(s). Now, this happens 8/10 times. sometimes it works fine, but not usually. Also, when I go to click the email icon to go into my inbox, the red * will still be there when I back out of it...either for a couple of seconds, or until i got back to the inbox and out again.
