Newbie theming help required.....

Hi, I've just started my first theme, and I'm struggling with something really basic. I just can't get the icons to perfectly line up on the home screen - is there a simple way of doing this? Thanks.

You should try asking your questions in the the theme developers forum, there are a ton of real helpful users there that would be more then happy to help you out.

there is an alignment tool panel that has many different options. left right center pack etc. place a few icons and try out all the buttons

there is no alignment in TB.. only composer.. (unless I have never seen it? lol)

I put the first one right where I want it.. then get the second one close. Now select both and look the the boxes... re-select the second one and adjust using the arrow keys. re-check by selecting both. You should be able to tell when its lined up just right

that way takes waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long

in TB open up your theme, hit `window` at the top, and tick `alignment` (or press ctrl+1) an you`ll have the same alignment set of tools as in composer

you can actually see it in action in the video posted by b15ginz on `theme 101`
