new item indication on mini icons

with the new TB2 and composer, is there a way to make the indicator star smaller for mini homescreen icons? i know someone had to figure this one out..

ok that makes sense until you get to the application screen. wont the new message indicator be the same size as the one on the homescreen? is it possible to have a small message indicator on the homescreen and a different sized one on the application screen?

Here is the other problem i'm having. THIS is what is happening with the new item indicators without me changing anything... why are they two different sizes? does this have to do with the method i used to create the mini icons?

how are you doing the mini icons?

i followed a tutorial that used these steps:

in composer..
-click edit, preferences
-click misc tab
-icon set (change to whatever size u want from list)
-create theme buttons using the toolbar button

is this in TB6? im wondering if this is because of that icon issue where they get cut off....

Yea I created the svg for the mini icons in Composer and imported to TB6

I've used two different methods of shrinking the icons in composer and i'm having the same problem with both. it seems as tho i'm having two issues. the more important of the two--when the icon shows the new message indicator, it doesnt resize with the icon on the home screen. the only one that resizes is the Text Message icon. you can see it in THIS image the others keep the original 68x68 size. the second issue is that either the new message indicator gets cut off (i think the whole icon is actually but its only transparent since the symbol doesnt fill the dimensions of the icon anyway). its not that big of a deal since i can reposition the indicator more towards the center.

any help would be appreciated. like i said i'm more concerned about the indicators resizing then i am it being cut off.

yeah TB6 has icon clipping issues. I have to go in a set the SVG icon size to 90x90 to make them not get cut off....

so... i would say.. make your icons 68x68 in size.. but draw them small in the space.. then draw the new indicator small..

TB6 is a MESS still
