Default Need help making simple Hidden Dock

I've been at this all morning and all I have accomplished is a massive headache, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out. Just please keep in mind that I've only just started making themes a couple of days ago.

So I made myself a custom theme with 6-icons (five on the bottom of the home screen and one in the upper right corner just beneath the banner) and center screen is previews (calendar, messages etc). Now I'm trying to make a hidden dock, which is where I'm having difficulties.

I've tried a couple different tutorials which I've followed exactly and so far I still can't make a hidden dock. I've got the dock itself done with Composer, but when I get to the coding part and load the svg file into Theme Builder I get error codes.

Could someone please point me in the direction of a tutorial that actually works? Preferably a text version as videos are a pain on my device.

Some additional info:
Theme is for 8500 series, OS5
Theme Studio 5.0

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

What error codes are you getting when you load the svg in TB? It is often normal to expect some warnings such as duration isn't defined. If you could also share your svg that would help immensely.

Russ.

Thanks for the reply Russ!!

The errors were about duration, which I read can be ignored in most cases, but I tried (for giggles) to see if it would work on the Simulator and kept getting errors there too (something about not being able to compile Home Screen svg).

Unfortunately after trying I don't even know how many times over the last several hours, I deleted the files assuming they were done wrong and figured I would start from scratch if I could find a different tutorial

I did come across that this morning too and wanted to check it out, but there's no actual tutorial on the page and if there's supposed to be a link to a video, it doesn't work for me
