Default navigation up/down arrows help

For the navigation up down arrows, i try to recolor them in gimp but it says i can only color rgb items. Can anyone let me know how to recolor them a different way?

Open the file in photoshop, zoom in so you can see it properly, then hit ctrl+u. That'll pop up your hue/saturation window. Adjust the color values there, then save it, etc.

Or in GIMP, you can change them to rgb, save them, and then open it back up and recolor.

It is under one of the tabs, I don't remember which one, you can convert it to rgb, save it, and open it in GIMP, then recolor.

I am not on a PC with GIMP on it, but there is a place that you can convert the image to rgb, and then recolor.

In GIMP, under the 'image' menu select the 'mode' submenu and select 'RGB'.
