Default Make dock show/disappear with keys... navigation question..

Hey Guys,

I'm working on a theme and doing my first keyboard shortcut based show/hide dock instead of the on focus/bouncy dock. Ive got the action down and it works really nice and no bounce!

But im not sure what to do about the fact that the cursor can get lost in the dock when its hidden. Is there any way to stop that or is it just what comes with this type of dock?

Thanks,
Jon

There isn't a way to stop that because the dock is really not hidden, it is just sliding off the canvas of the phone. The only true way to hide the cursor is to hide the icons using this method.

So if your focused on an icon in this hidden dock method, does the cursor jump to the profiles icon or something when the icons get hidden? or does it disappear with the icons just like the slide on click method?

Not sure if what I want to do is possible where the theme behaves like the dock/icons don't exist until they show up on screen with keypress.

Yeah I have not been able to actually have the focus icon automatically move to the next logical icon once the dock is hidden. I would love to know if there is a way to do that.

This method works ok actually. But once you add in a focus underlay into the mix, things dont work as planned. Trying to mix the method of showing/hiding the focus underlay at frame 1 and on focus on/off of the button works, and hiding the buttons and focus underlay works.. but once you mix the 2, everytime you click the button for show dock, you see all the underlay's show up till you scroll over them... and if you happen to be on one of the icons with the underlay lit up, it will stay till you make a move.

oh how I wish sliding docks didnt jiggle.

you gotta use begin/end commands for focus icons....like turn to inline begin="show.focusin" end="show.focusout"
