Default Lock .SVG

hey guys, just a quick question.
I noticed that in theme builder 5.0 (and maybe in 6.0) that there was a place to put a .svg file for the lock screen.
Anyone know what this does?
Thanks

Yea I was wondering the same thing. I know I have used it to add custom banners on the lock screen, but is there any other uses for it?

Lol sorry I know how that goes. But like I said, I've used the svg there to add a bottom banner to a lock screen. Its pretty much like the home screen one but you can't add apps to it or anything....I believe.

I have a few themes that I have created where I added an icon (set to use device order) so that you could display a weather app on the lock screen. You can edit your SVG and add stuff to it also. But the lock SVG functions just like the home screen svg. But if you add buttons, you will only be able to see them (good for weather or meterberry) you wont be able to click them.

Image is from a simulator so it doesnt have a weather app, but the Maps icon is in the 1st app slot, so it shows on the lock screen.

I've used it in the past to add a weather slot to the lock screen.

no need to edit, the elements will keep the same positioning as the homescreen.

also you can code into the svg the user defined homescreen, so the lockscreen matches whats set by the user on the homescreen, you can add animations too. a really good use is to put a layer behind the user text so they can always read their text no matter the background too
