Default Incorrect App Order..

Hey. I am building a custom theme for myself using Theme Builder 5.0. I added 6 home screen icons, and another for a weather slot.

When theme is loaded on my blackberry, the order of applications on home page doesn't match the top row on the full applications list screen. If I move an application in the applications list on my BB, the order on home page changes as well but still doesnt match the applications list.

I have the 'Use Device Application Order' check box ticked in theme builder, so have no idea what is going on.

Also - what is the 'Edit Application Hierachy' function do? I've seen many docs saying press this button to change applciation hierachy (obviously) but what does that actually mean?

Any help is appreciated.

You will have to go to the home screen and move the icons around into the correct order. The order that they use is based upon which one was created first.

Thank you.

I figured that was the problem. I was putting the first icon as the weather slot. Once I put it as the seventh, it worked.

Also, if you make a SVG with composer:

1. Go to the top of the page hit Ctrl+F in Notepad or NotePad++
2. Have it search for "slot" press search

There are only a few places where the word slot appears. To keep device order you want to see

slot0
slot1
slot2
slot3 etc....

NotePad++ is great to get a quick fix for the slot order. But I've found that if I rearrange my layers the slot's will put slots back into the corret order (may take a couple times). I'm still a newbie so I haven't figured out what trips the slots for getting out of sync, but have found that rearranging (and setting the focus order) will get things back in correct order.
