Default How to remove homescreen banner?

Hey all

I am trying to make my own firefighter theme using the blackberry theme builder and plazmic composer. I have been unable to make my upper black banner on the homes screen become transparent which i have noticed many people who make their own themes seem to be able to do that somehow. Can anyone please guide me in how to make my home screen upper banner disappear or transparent.

Thank-you
Nick

You have to replace the image in theme studio with a transparent 1x1px PNG file

Yea dude, or use the stock banner and change the transparent to 0 with Photoshop. That's what I do.

Thank you for all your help that solution worked! Now one other question I have for you guys. How do you make the grid layout boxes transparent? I would like only to see the image not the boxes and I have seen this done on other themes. Thank you

For that, you can use the regular wallpaper and set the transparency to 0 from Photoshop. With making themes, you need to use programs such as Photoshop or Gimp.

If its the white app boxes when you press the menu button for the list of apps than that's either the focus, tab, or tap. I forget but that's what I think he is talking about.

To all thank you for your help. I actually figured this out on my own. What I did was using composer made a rectangle the size of the banner using a transparent profile saved it as a png and replaced the picture on the banner with the one I created for both homescren. And application however you have to make two different size pictures.
