how to free move between icons vs application order

i am making an 18 icon theme. put the 18 icons on the home screen and used application order in inspector for all of them.

when i go on phone i can only move from one to the other in order or backwards but not all around(4 directions).

how do I do this in composer?

I figured application order just let you move the icons around like you would on a finished theme, that is essentially what I want to do.

You must set your navigation path in theme builder to move around. Composer does not do this.

To add a little more; in theme builder, your buttons will not be listed in the normal list of buttons. However, if you go to the navigation panel and click the middle button, you can then select whichever app your are wanting to change navigation for.
