How do you assign them onto the playbook app?

Default PB Icon and Theme Building Support is All Skunk Works Right Now

Composer, Theme Builder, and Simulator support neither OS 7.1 for phones nor OS 1 for PB.
Hopefully RIM will find the $$$ to update these software packages. In the meantime, just
finding the .png files in QNX is not for the faint of heart and borders on the occult.

Folks (not including myself) that are being successful here are patient, hard-working,
and a half a bubble off. They are working with very primative tools and really love what
they do and have a lot of time on their hands.

If I were doing this seriously, I would spring for a second PB to work with.

Do not mess around - you will eventually damage your QNX installation. Rather, buy PSE-7 and
fiddle around making icons until conditions improve. Shown below are my older efforts on S2 and PB.
They are night and day, with the PB icons from just using factory tools and they are very
primitive in comparison with the dynamic S2 icons.

I am focused on getting ready for OS2 and all that it will bring. Doc Neutron

I use paint.net to make icons, color buttons, focus highlights, etc.
