How do I re-order buttons in Composer?

How can I re-order icons in Composer?

For example, I have: 1,2,3,4,5,6,

Then I want/need to adjust #3 in such a way I have to delete it to start over.

So I now have: 1,2,4,5,6 (or 1,2,3,4,5 [no #6])

If I paste a new button in, it will then become number 6 and all other buttons will shift over 1 as well, but I want the new icon to become #3 again, how can I do this?

I really hope this makes sense.

Just rename the button to #3, the other buttons shouldn't change...what version of composer are you using? The new one?
