Home screen icon issues don't open apps

I have worked on a custom theme for almost a week now and have set it up just the way I like it. I have had to search all forums to figure things out. BUT the problem that I am still having is this. In a custom Today theme I have a couple of icons on my 'Home Screen' that when I click them in the Simulator they don't do anything. They don't open the appropriate app. I have the following icons on my Home Screen:
Messages - Works fine & is clickable
SMS/MMS - Works fine & is clickable
Media - Doesn't
Contacts - Doesn't
Default Inbox - Doesn't but I have read that when I install on my phone it will work.

So I'm ready to just delete the whole thing and give up. I CAN NOT figure this out.
Using Plazmic version 4.1.0.19 for Verizon Storm 9530 4.7.0.148

OK well Im guessing your really on Plazmic 4.7 and that 4.1.0.19 is the phone software.

Did you load your Icons on your homescreen in Theme Builder or did you make a SVG file in Composer?

If you used Composer did you select the apps or tell it Use Application Order?

I actually loaded them from Theme Builder. Since this is my first theme I am not using Composer or SVG.
