Question Highlight button problem

I am trying desperately to change the highlight button color from the stock blue to a red. I made a rectangle (that looks just like the blue one and is 60x72 size) in Paint.net. Save it, load it in the spot, click the grid thing and make it so that it looks like a normal button on the screen. When I export the theme to my Tour, it gives me a warning about highlight buttons being outside the height/width, and my focuses have black boxes after the word it's highlighting. I tried to make another highlight, and now the words move up and down within the button itself.
Can anyone help a newbie here? What the heck am I doing wrong?
Thanks, Lisa

Are you using a .png? Did you adjust the button to be 9 up and down 28 left and right?

Try using this one

Once you have made your selection to change the button png, click on the little square on the right and you should get another box to adjust the size

Hmmm.... I did not have the grid lines set at 28 and 9. When I use those numbers, it makes my button look like a tiled set of 3 buttons. I guess my button wasn't the size or shape that it needed to be? For most other things, I've just taken to recoloring the stock things that come in the sample themes but with this I figured it would be easy to make a little box. Apparently not. I guess I"ll stick to recoloring stock images .
Thanks for the help--and the red button!
Lisa

Yeah, I had this a while back. It's just because you're using an image that is too large to be the button.
The 28 and 9 don't really matter, as you can draw the grid exactly how you like (for example if you wanted thinner edges around the button).
Just use a smaller image and it'll be fine
