Hidden today message hotspots not showing?

Hey, I have a confusing issue..

I'm trying to create a hidden today with message hotspots in OS 6 .. which I think should then display everything in my Messages including Facebook, SMS, and e-mail.

However, none of these show and I'm left with just the title which reads "Messages (1 Unread)".

The coding for the default Messages today in TB 6 beta2 uses "email#from, email#subject, email#time" which is why I'm even more confused. I've tried messages#... and message#... but to no avail.

What's even more confusing is that I've been able to get the Pearl/Style OS6 simulator to show missed calls in the Messages today area..but not on my Bold. I also *think* I was able to show a sms in the message hotspot, which is why I thought this would work.

Anyone had/fixed this problem?

Also, another problem that randomly pops up is the hotspot of a today area being focusable even though it doesn't have anything in it...It should just skip over it in navigation, but it shows the today focus but isn't activate-able or anything.

I fixed this problem in the past, but can't seem to remember how I did it ...
