Help Me Please?

I started making themes for bb i have bb curve 8530.All of my themes i make for 85XX usually just 5.0 o.s.But some members request 4.6 o.s so i export the theme to 4.6 but i get errors saying some of the features available in 5.0 isn't on 4.6.I hit ok and the theme exports anyway.When i upload and members try it they say it doesn't work.My question is how do i successfully export the theme for 4.6?I'm using theme builder 5.

Does it give them any error when they try using the theme? Please be more specific.

Also, have you tried installing theme your self? This is gonna sound dumb, but try downgrading and try those themes they're saying that doesn't work. Then update again to 5.0...

Thanx 4 reply.They never told me of any errors when trying the theme.I'm new to bb and themes but i thought you couldnt use 4.6 themes on 5.0.Do i have to downgrade to 4.6 first then try the theme?After do i just update to 5.0 again using the cell phone wireless update?Thanx 4 the help.

You have to have the required OS in order to install a theme (or an app).

If you wanna try the themes that you make, you'll need to downgrade to 4.6, and try it out. If you wanna update back to 5.0, you can either use your phone, itself, to update it. You can also the Desktop Manager, or the AppLoader.

You don't need to downgrade to 4.6 because you can't that is a 8520 os. You need to download the 8520 4.6 simulator found on blackberry website.

With the 4.6 OS Gradients will not work. It requires 4.7 OS or higher, so if your 5.0OS show gradients, your export 4.6 will not hold them.
