Default Having issues with the battery meter

Hey guys,
I'm new to making themes and I've run into a problem. While making a theme, I've changed the battery meter to the Windows 7 battery meter. It looks great, but what I noticed was when I preview the theme on my Storm 9530, the battery percentage doesn't change. The number stays at 100 and the meter still appears at full capacity. When I go into options and check my status, it'll reveal that the batter is at 95% or something else. What can I do to make the battery work? All I did was in theme builder, I clicked on the indicators and went to battery and clicked on that to upload the Windows 7 batter, and uploaded it. Is there more to it that I'm not aware of and need to do?

The percentage won't change from say 100% to 90% until it reaches 89%. It's nothing you did. It's always behind. (if your status says it's at 75% then the meter will read 80%)

Hope that clears it up a little for you.

I'm a little surprised that the meter's aren't accurate. But thank you for the information. It was very useful and when I test it out on my Storm next time, I'll make sure to take note at when the battery starts changing.

Realize how the battery meter works. It is simply a series of image files that are displayed.. When the battery level is between A-B, image 1 is used; between B-C, image 2 is used; etc. To display the numbers on that image, the number is manually added to the static image and will apply to all battery levels that use that image. The better option that showing a % is to simply show simply 1 through 10. But that is personal taste.
