Default Filezilla and OTA's

I'm really hoping someone can help me with this. I currently use a very unreliable ftp/web space host and I'm sick and tired of the issues I'm having with it so I downloaded Filezilla to access the ftp server that way. I understand having to put in the .htacess and everything like that but what I don't get is how to get the link from the JAD file. Any help is greatly appreciated. If anyone can also recommend a great, reliable ftp hosting service that would be awesome too

Just create a folder on your web server and call it whatever you like, then inside that folder create another one with your themes name and the modified .htacess file with the correct entries and upload all your themes .cod files and the .jad file, simply link to the .jad file. Example: say your files are located like this:
http://www.YOURWEBSPACE.com/THEMEFOLDERNAME/NAMEOF THEME/NAMEOFTHEME.jad <-- thats the link for OTA just put that whole url in as the download link... like so:

http://www.YOURWEBSPACE.com/THEMEFOLDERNAME/NAMEOF THEME/NAMEOFTHEME.jad

As for web host, hostgator is reliable.
