1- For example, to use Alt + P, you use the "@" key. For Alt + Q, you use the "#" key. There is no "Alt" needed when setting the key, you just use the symbol that the Alt key would make if you used the Alt key.
2 - There are many ways to do this. I make a theme button set to "Clock" OFF the screen area and juts make the focus image for "Clock" display ON the screen area where the clock will go either by using a line or circle or a regular focus icon. You'll use Interactivity, Actions to set the focus image to show and hide as needed.
3 - You can only change 3rd party icons on the home screen and the Theme Button has to be set for THAT third part app. So if you have the 3rd part app set as your first icon in your dock, it will always and only be the 3rd part icon. To actually change the icon, right click on the Theme Button in Objects, select Edit, and change bitmap for normal and focus.
