Custom Focus Icon

Hi

I am fairly new to making themes, I am using Theme Builder 6 and want to use a custom picture as a highlight/focus cursor for my 9700. Is there way I can do this with the default. If I have to use the custom setting, then how do I create the sliding panes like the default os 6 theme in the custom.
