Couple of questions, hidden today background and weather slot text

Okay, so I'm starting to mess around with Theme Builder, Composer and hand coding some SVG so I can eventually make my "perfect" theme. Right now, I have a few questions.

I looked on bbthemelab and got the text always on SVG code that just needs some tweaked info. This is where I need help, namely the name part. Do I set it for the same name as the icon I want text to always show on? And do I leave the word text behind it? And what do the width and height numbers do?

As far as the hidden today background goes, I just need to know if there is a way to set it to show only for hidden today icons, as in only the ones that will actually show text not just the set icons.
