Converting Themes

This may be another newbie question....but is there an easy way to convert a theme that you've made for one model phone, to work for another?

yes and no. it depends what model you going from/to. if they are the same screen and icon size, then yes is easy. if different size then no is `new build` time

Start a new theme for the device you want to convert the theme to. Then chose File > Import and import the .thm file of your existing device.
Depending on which models your moving from and to, it may need a little tweaking... Or it may need so much work that it'd be better to start over.

like i said it depends what device your going from and to. if they are the same screen re, then the file>import will work, if not then its a new build.

what device are you going from and to?

Going from an 8530 theme to a 9700 theme for this one, but really just wanted to know in general. Already I see the resolution is wider, so I'll have to change some of the images. I'll have to get the simulator also to check if it works.

yea because its a different size you`ll need to change everything, as the icons etc are all different sizes
