Default Composer: set a hotkey for start up an URL?

Is there a way to launch an specific URL using a hotkey?

My several hotkeys I set in composer work well, but found no way to set a URL.
My test using "third party app" doesn't run.

Is there an solution?

You will need QuickLaunch or ShortCutMe to launch the URLs from my understanding.

If it is doable in theme studio I am unaware.

If I am wrong, please correct me

To use an third party app is not my suggestion.

In composer its also possible to set hotkeys for any BB or third party app, if module name is known
I guess there could also be a way to start browser with specific URL

Since you can add a weblink in theme builder.. Start a new theme.. Add only the link to the website... Then do the themebuilder permission trick to capture the homescreen.svg. In there you should see your shortcut/link code. Hopefully it has a line like "begin=hs0.activate".. If so, copy that line into your svg, and change hs0.activate to accessKey() and put whatever key u want to use to launch the website between the brackets.

And if that line doesn't exist.. Damn that a lot of typing on my blackberry for nothing!

Unfortunately I could not get it work right this way.

In homescreen.svg from temp the start of an app or weblink or so on is relative by calling the slot# from application list.
It only will work, if the position of the weblink-button is not moved to another position.
So I could call xlink:href="x-exec://slot1" as long the weblink is at position 2, but after sort the apps, it would run another app from position 2 in application-list.

That seems odd since u can make a theme with a weblink and move it or the browser around, no?

Homescreen.svg is not the end all be all, much more logic going on that we can't get a hold of. Stinks.
