U have two questions. To use an app from another directory the user would just move the app to the main directory and place it in tbe right slot.. For berryweather u need the real os name. I don't know tje name.

Two ways to go: (1) Device Application Order or (2) Third Party Application, both options in Composer. DAO uses the icon position on your app screen as a reference (slot #). To use the Third Party App, on your phone go to Options/Applications... and find your app by clicking it; its name will be listed. On my S2, it is berryweather. Doctor Neutron

Hi,
I have the same question - i think - and donīt understand how to place my Third Party app. Should i place it in composer ? When i place it, i can insert the name ( Modul ) off the application, iīve done that, but on the phone it donīt calls me the app. And what i have to insert ? Itīs a weatherapp and named wettercom_4_7_app or _lib. Should I move the app somewhere on the BB ? I think, that i only have to do, when i want to call it with Device App ?!? Iīm totally lost, you see. So can somebody explain it to me, please? What i have to do, and where ?
Thanks for any help
Jordan

For a weather app (I'm assuming this is one that will change the icon based upon weather conditions), it must be placed using app order. Otherwise you will have a fixed icon that will not be very useful.
