calender entries on home screen

i want to show the calender entries on the home screen (today area )when i hover over the calender icon and when i focus out of it, i want the entries to hide. but this is not happening. i am importing a svg file and then enabling the show today area in the theme builder. but nothing is happening. what should i do?

if i add a calender icon in the theme builder, the it works, but if i import a svg it doesn't happen! i want to make it work only by importing a svg

importing svg icons into themebuilder does not work when trying to use them with today areas....you need to create the icon in themebuilder. You can always manipulate the icon after themebuilder exports the files...

i've read the post you gave the link for, but haven't really understood it. Can u please write a few steps to sort me out of this problem
