Calendar Icon Issue

I have changed the icon set for a theme I am developing however the icon for the calendar remains stock os6. I have experienced this issue once before hand with a separate icon set to no avail and another time with a 3rd icon set which actually worked. I looked through all the file names etc to try and figure out why it loaded it with icon set 3 and not icon 1/2.

I found a post by StaticFX stating there is a bug with TB2 which is releated to the whole calendar icon issue, however StaticFX stated it cannot be done. I did manage to get it working once through that 3rd icon set and I am baffeled as to why/how it worked that time and not the other 2 times.

Any insight!?

I had the same issue with Reflex, it just defaulted back to the OS6 icon. It would be interesting to see a temp folder listing for the theme you had where the calendar icon worked, might give us some pointers?

I'm not sure if its controlled inside the theme.xml or if there is a specific .png file that is used to indicate a calendar icon that can have the day written on it.

Excellent idea, I don't know why I didn't think of looking at the exported files. I will do that sometime in the next 24hrs and get back to you here.

I have had hit-or-miss results by doing the following:

1. Set theme to a BlackBerry6 based theme I created.
2. Battery pull.
3. New 6.1 calendar icon appears and continues to show when I switch to a custom6 based theme i created.

No clue how to control it otherwise.

I haven't forgot just been extremely busy lately! Once I can manage the time to do this I will post back the results!
