Calendar Icon Assist...

Good Saturday to All,

I am looking for a little assist from somebody who understands SVG and Compsoer much better than I do.

I am looking to create (or steal if anybody has one - I'm not proud) a calendar icon that has no image, just the number. I need the date to show, but nothing else. And I need it to be around 50x50, perhaps a smudge smaller, 48x48, to fit in the spot I have for it. Any larger, then a border will be off the home screen, and I'll get the error pop-up when I try to preview or export it.

Anybody want to help a fella out?

I'd truly appreciate it. I have given myself a headache today trying to figure this out.

wait... you need a blank icon for an OS6 theme.. so just the date shows?

I tried to create a 48x48 "blank", basically a 48x48 png image filled with transparency (using Gimp). Didn't work. Perhaps I did something wrong.

In any case, thanks for the link - never searched Google. CrackBerry yes. BB Theme Lab yes. Google no. Go figure. I'll try this one out once I get home.
