Blank App Screen using 3rd party themes KB article?

I previously found since later OS 6 versions .500+ that when using a 3rd party theme that the app screen is blank upon initial entry after boot. Closing and re-entering app screen brings them back however...

Is there a blackberry KB article which addresses this issue? And/OR have they fixed it in later official OS releases? I am running Berrylicious v6 and haven't used an official OS for many months now...


I don't feel comfortable releasing my themes publicly knowing there is an issue like this without information from blackberry telling customers this is in fact a OS related issue and NOT a theme developer issue....essentially I would just want to make available the KB link in my FAQS section....if anyone could chime in I'd appreciate it.

Well known issue hybrid builders have resolved. Have them inject/replace this file in their OS.

Ok thanks. I see that its from .522...Has this been resolved in newer Official OS releases aswell?

It's working for every OSicks and OSicks hybrid I know of.

It wasn't resolved for me using .706(which came with berrylicious 6). And i seem to remember running into it with .534, .600, .666, .706 in official OS's.

When I tested Zoc's BL6, it wasn't switched out. Try injecting the cod on your 9700, and see.

ohh thats exactly what I did...its working fine now...I'm running BL6 and bbsak read the original BL6 Ribbon cod as .706...
