Angry Blackberry Simulator Problem

I'm trying to use the Bold 9650 simulator for a theme with theme builder and it doesn't see it on the computer. I'm Using Windows 7 64bit is there a process or a need to moved to another folder to get it to be seen from theme builder. Although if i go into my program list under rim i can open the simulator but cant simulate themes since it isn't recognized by theme builder.

you should be in the same folder as your theme builder app....which is Research In Motion.

You should also restart your computer. Try it again. If it doesn't work, close TB and try again. It is a pain in the arse, but it will work eventually.

The install doesn't play nicely on Win64 systems. Install the simulator as "admin" (right click and run as adminstrator). Then go into Builder and refresh your simulators. May need to reboot your computer to get the refresh button to show up after installing the simulator.

The first one. The simulators should all be in there.

I have win7 64 and never ran into this issue.

I have Win7 64 and did. I had problem with install of the Builder/Composer as well (never had a problem with any other program install, before or since). In my search to find the solution I found several others with similar problem. Found that running install as Admin fixed for me (and the others as well). Not sure why the difference, def had my pulling my hair out for a while
