Default Battery meter icons: lightning bolt

I created a custom theme for my 9700 using Theme Builder 6.0

Basically, I had upgraded to OS6 but missed having my calendar as a today item.

I used the standard 'Custom' build in theme builder, all I changed was the background and added a calendar today.

The problem is that when I charge my 9700, the battery meter on the homescreen, menu screen etc does not show the lightning bolt. I know it is charging however as the bolt is visible on the browser screen.

Can anyone offer advice on how to make the lightning bolt display on all screens when charging?

Try saving a copy of the battery png file and uploading the copy. Theme Builder exports the default file wrong or something...my custom ones work fine, though.

Ah thanks!

I am a step closer. I saved a copy and then uploaded that. When I plug the BB in you now get a static bolt. However on the web browser page the bolt flashes.

Any further ideas?

It looks like the device itself adds a flashing bolt and only on titlebars. For the banners, it just takes a static image from the bottom row of your battery png whereas for a titlebar, I think it takes a static image from the top row and adds that fading in bolt. Unfortunately, there is no svg file for the title bar or else you could probably find the code for the flashing image.

Thanks for the reply.

Having the bolt (even non flashing) is better than no bolt at all.

I can now sleep easy!

cheers
