Auto-program to compute difference in XY for high amounts of layers or buttons

I have just delved into the world of theme building and svg coding and while doing so created a moving wheel of icons...I have a total of 12 icons in this wheel which makes for 144 lines of svg coding.

I was wondering if anybody (other than myself) would be interested in a program to generate the difference in XY as you proceed through the different positions. This would save a heck of a lot of time instead of manually working it out you could input how many layers/buttons, the original position of the layers/buttons and then the program would auto generate the difference between XY between all the layers/icons in various positions.

Eg: 1 to 2, 1 to 3, 1 to 4 / 4 to 1, 3 to 1, 2 to 1...etc

Seems like a good idea to me but again as I have just got into theme building maybe im going about this the wrong way...If anyone thinks it would be beneficial let me know and I might proceed to make such a program.
