Any Fonts That Change "Edge" to 3G Icon?

I am working on a theme for a bb 8900 and want to replace the "edge" with the popular 3G icon and can't figure out how to do that. I have tried numerous font making programs without any luck. Anyone know where I can find that font? Or is anyone in here willing to make it and share???

edge shouldn't be changed to 3G. EVDO is the one that should be changed.

I've never seen that on the home or app screens. I've only seen edge that's why I said that one is what I wanted to change.

the thing I would caution you on is edge is not 3G and is not the same. EVDO is the CDMA version for 3G. All of the fonts that are available to do this are all set up for replacing the V with a 3, D with a G, and ) with the blackberry symbol.

With e starting and ending edge, you can't do the simple replacement of the last three letters as you will end up with extra characters.

yeah i've still ben trying to find a program that will make it and have it look right. Still no luck. I was just hoping that someone may have figured this out already and it was being shared in here.
