Programs to customize theme?

Hey guys.

I'm new here and I just bought myself a blackberry.. I want to know what programs are used to customize themes besides plazmic and adobe photoshop. Also, how do you get those girly icons?

I found Plazmic and Fireworks CS4 to work best for me.

You can see the themes I have made with those 2 and they come out nice I think.

If you have a new BB running the 5.0+ OS then get the theme builder (direct from RIM)
BlackBerry - Development Tools & Downloads

Plazmic is for pre 5.0 OS.
