How to get the temperature to display on home screen?
I've searched the forums and couldn't find what I was looking for.
I've created a user defined slot for my WeatherEye, and I have it set so the temperature shows up when i scroll over the icon. How can I get the temperature to stay on all the time?
I've tried making an icon specifically for WeatherEye with the text displayed. But when I load it on to my 9700, the icon doesn't show up on the home screen, and neither does the text.
How can I do get this to work? If my description isn't very good, what I'm trying to acheive is Shankeith's defined lite.

In User Defined, Do you mean you have it set to application order or did you Set it for a Third Party Application in Theme Builder?
I have not got Third Party Apps to show Icons when set in Theme Builder. I have always just went with Device application order. When set to a 3rd party app, most times the slot will activate the app, but text nor icons ever show for me. - 04-09-2010, 01:20 PM #5

Are you using composer at all?
if you are using composer to add th icons.. then you need move the slots (Click the link in my sig - easily add slots in your SVG)
Use the app, set it to one... the create. Import the new svg. Now add ONE icon with the homescreen page in TB. this will be your weather app. (Set the weather app as the first icon on your device)
Otherwise, you add the icon, and set the text to always on.Last edited by StaticFX; 04-09-2010 at 02:17 PM.
