hidden today big help :(
searched like crazy and i got my today items to show but my problem is this, i added only a calendar icon in composer, export svg to theme builder, added "focus today area", and when exporting to my phone to test the today only shows messages entries not calendar and wont hide, stays on no matter where i go
what am i doing wrong? i've seen other themes that going to the calendar shows today calendar entries....
....please help
thank you all in advanced - 08-26-2011, 10:52 AM #2
there is a strange bug...
You have to add the calendar/msgs/etc icons in Themebuilder for the Today items to work. - 08-26-2011, 02:57 PM #3
As a side note, when making a 'hidden' today, you add the today items, but do you still have to check off "focus today area"? Not sure what the difference is between having that ckecked and not checked. Because in TB when I check it, it looks like theres a 2nd today area underneath the items i just added.

the focus today is a small section that allows each item (msgs, cale, etc) to display in..
the Hidden today is done by adding today items then using code to hide/show them - 08-26-2011, 06:08 PM

Im just learning this stuff myself....start here:

If you have no experience whatsoever it will be tough. Fortunately I have some past experience dealing with html which is similar to xml...which is what the svg code is written in. - 08-27-2011, 11:26 AM #7
Jaded is right... its not simple to just say...."heres how" because each instance is different. If you have any programming experience then it shoul dnot be hard at all.... but, it is only SVG which is not too difficult (like XML/html)
